Train’s Monahan Goes Solo With ‘Last Of Seven’
July 05, 2007, 4:00 PM ET Bonus Fara Depunere Momentarily stepping away from his main band, Train frontman Pat Monahan has wrapped work on his solo debut with producer Patrick Leonard. “Last of Seven” is due Sept. 18 via Columbia. First single “Her Eyes,” written by Monahan along with Leonard and John Shanks, is an uptempo number inspired by Monahan’s girlfriend and daughter.
As far as releasing future solo albums, Monahan says it all depends on what happens with “Last of Seven.” “Success in anything just simply buys you the opportunity to work more,” he says. “With this project, if the demand is there to continue for me to do this, then absolutely.” |

Aww… For me,It’s Johnny! LOL.
How sweet are you to show support to your bandmate on his solo project! What a great friend you are. Yet again, showing what a kind person you are!
I knew you were going to be a good addition to Train! Course I already loved you from the BC’s..so it was an added bonus

Yeah, I hope things go awesome for Pat’s solo project. But, Johnny’s the guy I’d go on a 16-17 hour ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ Odyssey LOL ^^ to see, again, in a heartbeat. And the constant ‘love vibe’ he’s sending out to the universe as well as being the kindest man on the planet I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet are two good reasons ‘why.’
